Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information this site collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

1. Scope

This policy applies to personal information collected through thecenternode.com by CenterNode Group ("CenterNode", "we", "us"), a subsidiary of The Forest Road Company. It covers this website only.

If you are an advisory client or an investor in a fund, this is not the notice that governs your relationship with us. Personal information collected in the course of providing advisory services is handled under the privacy notice delivered to you by Forest Road Asset Management, LLC in accordance with Regulation S-P. That notice controls, not this page.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

If you use the contact form on this site, we collect the information you enter into it: your first name, your last name, your email address, your organisation, and the content of your message. The form does not ask for financial information, government identifiers or any other sensitive category, and we ask that you not include such information in your message.

If you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to put in that email.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested. These include your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and operating system, and the referring page. We use these for security, diagnostics and understanding aggregate traffic levels.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking technologies. We do not build profiles of visitors, we do not track you across other websites, and there is nothing here that responds differently to a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, because there is no tracking to turn off.

>

If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.

Fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and user-agent string. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy, not ours.

3. Why we use it

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about it;
  • evaluate potential transactions, partnerships or professional relationships;
  • operate, secure and troubleshoot this website;
  • detect and protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent or illegal activity;
  • meet our legal, regulatory and recordkeeping obligations; and
  • establish or exercise our rights, and defend against legal claims.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as follows:

  • Service providers. Our website host, email provider and other vendors process information on our behalf, under contract, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
  • Affiliates. The Forest Road Company and its affiliates, where relevant, subject to the same protections described here.
  • Professional advisers. Our lawyers, auditors and compliance consultants, where needed.
  • Legal and regulatory. Regulators, law enforcement, or others where we are required to disclose by law, subpoena or similar process, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or that of others.
  • Corporate transactions. A counterparty in connection with a merger, financing, reorganisation or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

5. How long we keep it

The California Privacy Rights Act requires us to tell you how long we keep personal information, or the criteria we use to decide. Our periods are:

  • Enquiries and correspondence: three years from last contact, unless a longer period applies below.
  • Information subject to Advisers Act recordkeeping: for the periods those rules require, which may exceed the period above. Investment advisers are subject to specific retention periods and where those apply they govern.
  • Server logs: short rolling retention by our host, typically under 30 days.

Where more than one period applies to the same information, the longest governs.

6. Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and we maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information it collects. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through a web form.

7. Your privacy rights

California

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to:

  • know what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to;
  • access a copy of that personal information;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information, neither of which applies here because we do neither;
  • not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these, use our California Privacy Request page, email privacy@forestroadco.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line, or call +1 302-265-0167. We will verify your identity before acting, and will respond within the timeframes the statute requires.

Personal information that is collected, processed, sold or disclosed under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and its implementing regulations, including Regulation S-P, is exempt from the CCPA. Much of the information held by an investment adviser or a broker-dealer falls into that category, and we will tell you where an exemption applies to part of a request.

Other states

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have comparable rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to appeal a refusal. Use the same contact routes above and tell us which state you reside in.

8. Children

This site is directed at businesses and investment professionals, and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
